Who?

I'm a contemporary artist exploring the boundaries of body image and body positivity. All my life I have had my own issues with my body and the way that it looks, with all of its lumps and bumps. So, in this past year I have started to explore these issues that I have, in much more depth with my art and looking at the way it affects others too. My work varies from doing small, cartoon-style illustrations, to 3-D pieces and installations. I love working with a variety of different materials and looking at different areas of body positivity/image.

My sketchbooks are where I do most of my illustration work, which are all on my website and social media pages for you to view. I have also modified 3 barbie dolls to 'fit' with three different stereotypes that women face on a day to day basis as a way of showcasing some of the degrading that, unfortunately, occurs within society. This then led me on to look at male body positivity issues as well as female issues, whereby I ended up creating a few sets of 'personalised' underwear alongside a video, which you can also view on my website and social media. 

Now, I am looking at combining my illustrations with my collaging too, as a way to express issues within male suicide and mental heath too, as a piece of work for someone I know.
